Representative Office

METRO AG Representative Office in Russia

In February 2005, the Group’s Management Board created the METRO AG Representative Office in Russia. The office represents METRO GROUP in dealings with Russian government authorities, public administration, business organisations, chambers of commerce, non-governmental organisations and media representatives.

The Representative Office conducts a continuous dialogue with decision makers involved in key issues affecting the development of the Russian economy, the political scene and social life in Russia.

The Representative Office helps to underscore the Group’s strong image. It provides comprehensive information about the Group as a responsible business partner and communicates the message that METRO GROUP is a significant contributor to the development of the Russian economy and a company that operates in accordance with the principles of corporate social responsibility.
