On the one hand, this is due to the fact that the trade sector is perhaps the sector most affected by the social environment. Communication among customers and business partners must be trouble-free in this area. On the other hand, the sector’s key responsibilities, including food quality and safety, can be achieved only if trading companies, suppliers and legislative bodies work together.

Working Together

METRO GROUP works closely with international, European and national associations. In Russia, the most important platform that represents the interests of foreign investors is the Foreign Investment Advisory Council (FIAC) (Link to external page:www.fiac.ru), which helps to promote a productive dialogue between foreign business and the Russian government, ministries and departments, as well as to create favorable conditions for enhancing investment processes in the country. METRO GROUP supports a wide range of its activities.
